VidProxy

Terms of Service

Effective date: April 30, 2026

VidProxy ("Service") is operated by Daniel Neumann ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What VidProxy Does

VidProxy monitors YouTube channels via their public RSS feeds and delivers video transcripts to webhook endpoints you configure. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. Your use of this Service is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys secure.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One account per person. Shared accounts are not permitted on Free and Starter plans.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use VidProxy to:

  • Violate YouTube's Terms of Service or any applicable law.
  • Access private or unlisted videos — VidProxy only works with public content.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the infrastructure, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation.

4. Payment and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit card information.
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the dashboard. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is resolved.

5. Service Availability

VidProxy is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees about uptime, transcript availability, accuracy, or delivery timing. YouTube can restrict transcript access at any time without notice, and delivery may fail for reasons outside our control — including blocked IPs, transcript unavailability, or webhook errors. We are not liable for missed or delayed transcript deliveries.

6. Intellectual Property

You own the data you send to and receive from VidProxy. We own the platform, codebase, and API. Transcript content belongs to the respective YouTube channel owners — VidProxy fetches and relays it but makes no ownership claims over it.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost data, missed transcripts, or webhook delivery failures. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing hello@vidproxy.pro. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We'll notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
